Microsoft recently announced Windows 11, which promises many new features and changes to the operating system that we and our customers use every day. These features range from a new look interface in everyday tasks, to behind the scenes changes such as much improved security.
As with any Windows release, WJPS have the responsibility to ensure our software continues to function as intended. We have been awaiting the developer preview of Windows 11 from Microsoft, and we have finally got our hands on it.
All WJPS’s current line-up of software products work flawlessly with Windows 11, just like they do in Windows 10.
Even MRS 2.5 continues to work effortlessly on Windows 11, which means we keep our promise that our products will run on Windows 7 and above.
While we are excited to see the full release of Windows 11 later this year, it does unfortunately have some high system requirements, see the requirements.
This will mean a lot of customers will need either a system upgrade or a new machine before they will be able to get Windows 11. Microsoft will continue to support Windows 10 until 2025, and WJPS will continue to make sure MRS 2.5, MRS 3 and EWT continue to work with Windows 7 and Windows 10 for as long as needed.
