Morton-on-Swale Parish Council serve the large village and civil Parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England.
Morton-on-Swale Parish Council approached WJPS late last year looking for an upgrade to their current website. They were looking for an accessible and compliment site to display the Parish Council documents, events, and information, that could also be used for their village hall, to display information about the groups and classes taking place at the hall.
They wanted a clean, user friendly, and quick to update website which could be used by all members of the council and village hall groups, to avoid all the website work being done by one person.
Utilising WCS Features
Morton On Swale use our profiles feature to introduce their councillors. Each member of the council has an email address, phone number, address, profile picture, and bio on their site to help parishioners know who to contact and how to contact them.
Morton-on-swale parish council take advantage of WCS’s news feature, using it to keep residents of the parish informed of any upcoming events, information that needs to be passed on, or updates to old information. They write news stories on their site, to then share on their social media pages.
