Over the last few weeks, we have held a couple of user groups for some of our Web Communication System (WCS) Customers.
We enjoy holding these sessions as they’re a great place to discuss and learn about many WCS features, offer ideas, and raise queries. They’re beneficial, not just for our users, but for us too, as they provide knowledge of what our customers need, and help us to curate new ideas for features and updates.
The groups are a relaxed and informal, and open a line of communication between us and our users. We offer quick tutorials & demos on our new and updated features, discuss best practices, and have an open session for asking questions, sparking discussions, and raising any concerns.
In our most recent User Groups, held on the 24th November and the 1st December 2021, we firstly covered some of our recently updated features like Drag + Drop page editing, a more thorough search feature, and our new way of displaying documents- as web documents.
Some topics that we covered in more depth were the new Analytics product we offer, an easy and simple way of sharing a folder of documents, and how to send newsletters in a GDPR friendly, simple way.
We also covered how to utilise some helpful WCS features, like creating, and displaying profiles on a page, using reusable content to streamline the updating process for your site using Add-Ons, and adding galleries of images with titles and descriptions that double up as an Alt-Text accessibility feature.
We also cover our new Web Consultancy Service, and what we can offer in terms of content creation, streamlining, and creating a user friendly, easy to navigate site to make the most out of your WCS Site.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who attended our most recent User Groups. It has been fantastic seeing everyone in person again, and we hope to again soon, so keep an eye out for that invite in your inbox!
In the meantime, if you would like some guidances, a demo or some training in using some of the features on your WCS site, contact Bee on Bee.Horner@wjps.co.uk or 01677 392006.
