2024 has been an incredible year for WJP Software Limited, marked by exciting developments, key achievements, and meaningful growth. As the year comes to a close, we reflect on our progress and look forward to the opportunities ahead.
Environmental and Water Testing System (EWT)
This year, we enhanced the EWT system by migrating it to cloud platforms, allowing for greater flexibility and accessibility. We also introduced templates for Sample Request Types, streamlining data entry and improving efficiency for users.
Microbiological Report System (MRS)
The Test module in MRS underwent significant refactoring and redevelopment. Now, it supports more Test Types and replaces Kits and Ad-hoc incubations, simplifying maintenance. Users can set up test templates, organise results into Test Result Groups, and create structured workloads for testers.
We made strides in advancing the MRS Cube hardware, enabling users to capture standardised photographs of Environmental Monitoring Plates. Complementing this, we developed a web-based capturing system that allows the Cube to function independently of MRS, while also deeply integrating the photography feature within MRS itself. This ensures photos can be directly associated with plate results for enhanced documentation.
While we can’t reveal all the details yet, we’ve initiated development on exciting new projects that will launch in the coming year. Stay tuned for updates in 2025.
To boost our visibility and engage with the industry, we attended several key events:
These events fostered valuable conversations, strengthened relationships, and helped us welcome new customers. In 2025, we aim to further expand in the pharmaceutical market and explore export opportunities in Europe and America.
One of our standout achievements this year was the rollout of Witnessed Validation for MRS 3. This service streamlines IQ and OQ processes, providing customers with evidence packs, signed-off validation documentation, and recorded or live validation sessions. This approach has:
Adopting a Cloud-First strategy has been another highlight. By managing data and server requirements for our customers, we’ve reduced the burden on their IT departments. Clients only need to install a lightweight client to access the system, while we handle server maintenance, updates, and performance optimisation. This has ensured seamless system access without compromising speed.
In 2024, we:
Additionally, we partnered with Carmel College in Darlington and York College to host work experience and placement students. These budding developers worked on various projects, gaining valuable insight into the operations of a software development company.
With a team of six dedicated staff and a growing client base, we’re excited to build on the momentum of 2024. We look forward to welcoming new clients, continuing to innovate, and strengthening our relationships with existing partners.
Here’s to another successful year for WJP Software Limited!
