Imperial College Healthcare (ICH) came to us in 2013 to implement two separate instances of MRS on the Charing Cross and Hammersmith sites. Both systems are configured to the same standards but operate separately, using standalone installations of MRS. In time, the databases could be merged and centralised very easily, allowing results to be viewed and benchmarked on a site wide basis.
Working with Imperial College has been a great experience for WJPS, and has allowed us to continue to improve the system for smaller user scenarios. Using the latest remote connection software we have been able to manage this project successfully without having to regularly visit the sites. The initial installation was conducted onsite with face to face training, followed by remote support and updates. This helped to keep the running costs to a minimum, while continuing to comply with NHS IT and Governance regulations.
